In January, especially in Scotland, it is hard to survive the winter months without your hands turning into well, what I would imagine the hands of a crocodile to feel like. Everybody should give their hands some extra TLC in the winter time - we forget how much battering our hands go through on a daily basis! The following products are my favourite hand care products all year round but especially for the winter months.
Hand Care: Cowshed Cow Pat Hand Cream
Although the name is some what off putting... The Cowshed, Cow Pat hand cream is incredible! In comparison to popular favourites like The Soap and Glory Hand Food and The Body Shop's Hand cream range, The Cowshed nourishes your hands and really heals them. The other hand creams show instant relief from dry hands however, you will find your hands are thirsty for more cream within hours where as the Cowshed cream satisfies your hands completely for the entire day, or longer! I hope more beauty bloggers soon catch on too how great this product is and help to spread the word! This is the smaller size 50ml tube as I like to transport it around in my handbag for hand thirsty emergencies!

I have been searching my entire make-up loving life to find a make-up remover that doesn't sting my eyes and cause them to be red and irritated, and now I have found one!
The Skin perfection 3 in 1 purifying Micellar Solution claims to:
1. Dissolve make-up
2. Unclog pores and remove impurities
3. Tone and sooth skin.
Firstly, the product feels like water. Who wouldn't want to remove make-up with something that feels as pure and as clean as water! Because of this it feels cooling and purifying whilst removing all of your make-up.

D.I.Y Bow Ring
What you will need:
1. Thin wire in any colour
2. Scissors
I used a make-up brush to represent the shape of the finger.
Firstly: cut the wire to about 20cm - (the longer the wire the bigger the bow) and place the make-up brush or equivalent in the centre of the wire. Wrap the left side over the top and the same with the right side to form the ring itself.
Next: Take the remaining wire on the right hand size and make a loop, bringing the wire downwards. Do the same with the left hand side.
Lastly: Curl the edges up and cut off the excess wire.

From 12pm last night I refreshed my online banking every ten minutes anticipating my student loan arriving - unfortunately it never came... As I had been preparing for my (what feels like free money)/loan to arrive, I was very disappointed when I found out that there had been a problem with it. So of course, as a shopaholic I spent the afternoon in denial looking around the shops in the city centre! AND this is what I found...
Forget spring cleaning - September is the best month to organise and start fresh. September is the month when the winter clothes make their way onto the wooden hangers in a wardrobe and the summer clothes unwillingly head into boxes under the bed.

Over the past few months I have accumulated a number of favourite beauty, fashion and random products to share with you but these three products are at the top of my list. I have been using these things all summer but I think that they will be especially useful for the upcoming winter months! I will do a separate post with my fashion favourites as I have so many of those.
