The NARSissist Blush Palette Review

When I noticed the NARSissist palette seductively waiting for me across the room in Space NK, it was love at first sight. I opened its silky smooth, streamlined, black packaging (so many adjectives) to unleash three rather small stripes of heaven. On a side note, if the palette lures you in online, be warned there is really VERY little product - like really tiny.
When I opened it up, the palette was gorgeous. It includes, Laguna bronzer, Orgasm blusher and Devotee - a limited edition highlighting shade. The perfect products for someone looking to create a beautiful contour.
I am particularly fussy when it comes to choosing bronzer due to my almost see-through, ghosty-white, scottish skin. However, the Laguna bronzer really complements my skin tone and as it is a matt product rather than a shimmer, it creates a perfect shadow when applied under my cheekbones. In my opinion the bronzer would suit all skin tones due its buildability (probably not a word)... The orgasm blush, is a beautiful, pinky - coral toned blush which complements all skin tones and as it has a very subtle shimmer, it will look beautiful under sun light. The Devotee highlighter is perfect, as it is very light and has hardly any shimmer - this makes it look like a natural highlight rather than a strip of glitter like some highlighters! The palette also comes with a very soft and good quality blusher brush (try saying blusher brush three times quickly).
HOWEVER, although each of the shades are beautiful colours there is a SERIOUS lack of pigmentation to them. For a high-end product, I was really very disappointed with this aspect of the product. I would be more disappointed if I had purchased one of the three products in their full sized versions but as you are sampling three - it is a great way to try the NARS products and save money. Plus it is the perfect palette to carry in your handbag or travelling as it is so teeny tiny!
Unfortunately, after beginning to use this product - I formed a rash on my cheeks. I assumed it was some medicine that I had been taken but after researching the NARS blushers, I have noticed that quite a few people have been reacting to them. Although I will never be sure what caused my reaction, I think I will need to stay clear of NARS blushes from now on- just a warning if you have sensitive skin!
The NARSissist blush palette is exclusive to Space NK stores.
