Happy Hands

In January, especially in Scotland, it is hard to survive the winter months without your hands turning into well, what I would imagine the hands of a crocodile to feel like. Everybody should give their hands some extra TLC in the winter time - we forget how much battering our hands go through on a daily basis! The following products are my favourite hand care products all year round but especially for the winter months.
Hand Care: Cowshed Cow Pat Hand Cream
Although the name is some what off putting... The Cowshed, Cow Pat hand cream is incredible! In comparison to popular favourites like The Soap and Glory Hand Food and The Body Shop's Hand cream range, The Cowshed nourishes your hands and really heals them. The other hand creams show instant relief from dry hands however, you will find your hands are thirsty for more cream within hours where as the Cowshed cream satisfies your hands completely for the entire day, or longer! I hope more beauty bloggers soon catch on too how great this product is and help to spread the word! This is the smaller size 50ml tube as I like to transport it around in my handbag for hand thirsty emergencies!

I think that the Wild Mint range from the White Company is my all time favourite fragrance. I love the candle in the range, it fills your room with the refreshing scent combination of peppermint, spearmint and white tea. When I found out there was a Hand Lotion in the range, I realised I could basically lather my hands in this in the morning, and have the beautiful scent follow me around throughout the day - perfect. However, I feel that this is not a good lotion for actually treating your hands in comparison to a hand cream, but with a scent like that, you cant go wrong!

After your hands are well and truly nourished a beautiful piece of.. bling will be the icing on the cake. I was given this ring as a gift for my 21st birthday and I wear it every single day. When I tried it on in the shop, it fitted like a glove, we are on the topic of hands after all harhar... It was truly one of those moments where you know that it is the one. I think the blue/green coloured stone is perfect as the colour is subtle enough to go with everything.
Nail Varnish: Rimmel 60 Second
I have spent roughly ten years sampling nail varnishes, and without fail the Rimmel 60 Second nail polish wins. I have little patience when it comes to waiting for nails to dry, so this formula is ideal. The quicker the time spent waiting passes the less smudging! If you cover this nail polish with a clear top coat, you will see minimal chipping after even two weeks of wearing. It is also one of the cheapest nail polishes on the market - bonus!
